MARGILIC

1948 - 14.94 m - L. Costantini - 150 000

Overview

Superb Classic Cutter made of wood by L.Costantini in 1948, refitted in 1998-2000, MARGILIC got her teak deck redone in 2010.  MARGILIC sails are from Tonnerre, spinnaker included.

For many years, under sail number 518, Margilic participates in the RORC races, and often stands out : Brixham – Santander / Plymouth - La Rochelle / Cowes - Dinard ... before starting, from the 60s, to more peaceful cruises in the Atlantic and the English Channel. MARGILIC is classified in Marconi's classic sloop, and in the International Mediterraneean Commitee.

Acquired after a few years of sleep on the ground, MARGILIC was entrusted in 1998 to the Pichavant yard at Pont-Labbé (Finistère, France) for a major renovation, under the supervision of Gilles Costantini, son of the builder.
