NOMAD IV

NOMAD IV is an exceptional sailing yacht designed by the renowned architects Finot-Conq and built in Italy by Dolphin Yachts. Representing a new concept of large sailing yachts, she features a high freeboard, a broad beam, and an expansive sail area, delivering unmatched sailing performance alongside generous space for guest accommodations. Her impressive length and equally spacious interior and exterior areas ensure a remarkable level of comfort for all on board.

Her side ballasts allow her to sail almost flat, while the lifting keel enables access to diverse ports and anchorages. The spacious cockpit, featuring two tables that each seat up to 12, is perfect for enjoying leisurely onboard dinners. Additionally, the generous sunbathing areas provide a comfortable spot for owners and guests to bask in the sunlight. Inside, the deck saloon offers breathtaking 360° panoramic views.

In the 2015 RORC Transatlantic Race, NOMAD IV, skippered by Jean-Paul Rivière, claimed first place in the monohull category and established a new monohull record for the event. The yacht completed the race in 10 days, 7 hours, 6 minutes, and 59 seconds, arriving in Grenada at 19:06:59 UTC on December 8, 2015. This achievement earned NOMAD IV the Monohull Line Honours and secured the International Maxi Association Transatlantic Trophy.
