RECLUTA

RECLUTA is a magnificent new-classic ketch, 20.36 meters in length, personally conceived by the renowned naval architect Germán Frers, inspired by a 1942 design created by his father. Built in 2021 by Tito Szyka in Argentina, this singular yacht merges the timeless appeal of a vintage silhouette with the precision of modern engineering and the ease of contemporary living.

Crafted to the highest standards by a team of skilled artisans in Buenos Aires, RECLUTA is a testament to exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail. Constructed from the finest South American woods— viraró for the framework and cedro, reminiscent of Honduras mahogany, for the deck and superstructure — she exudes refinement in every line. Her Sitka spruce spars and bronze deck fittings further emphasize her traditional elegance.

Designed with equal focus on performance and aesthetics, RECLUTA has taken part in world-class classic regattas including Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, Régates Royales de Cannes, Palma de Mallorca, Mahon, Antibes, and the Argentario Sailing Week. With a light displacement of 33 tons, a fractional ketch rig, and a lifting keel (draft 2.36m to 4.50m), she combines speed and agility with the rare advantage of shallow-water access.

The interior is inviting, spacious, and cleverly arranged, accommodating up to 9 guests across 3 cabins, including an aft owner's suite with en-suite bathroom, two forward guest cabins convertible as needed, plus a crew cabin with separate deck access. The saloon offers generous seating with two large sofas, a versatile dining table, and an open-plan galley, designed for comfort and easy living at sea.

RECLUTA is equipped for autonomous cruising, featuring a lithium-ion battery bank, SCHENKER 80 l/h watermaker, C-Zone electrical control system, and state-of-the-art B&G and SAILMON navigation electronics. Her deck is outfitted with bespoke bronze winches, a MUIR electric windlass, and a foldable carbon gangway finished in teak.
